Label Traces

Use the Label Traces option to label points on a geophysical trace.

Note:  Traces displayed as layers cannot be labelled.

Instructions

On the Geology menu, point to Downhole Geophysics, and then click Label Traces to display the Annotate Traces panel.

Colour

Select a colour for the displayed labels.

Select trace points

Select this option to nominate (using the mouse) the points on the trace to label.

Regular intervals

Select this option to label points at regular intervals down a trace. You will need to specify the depth interval between each label and the closest point tolerance. If no trace point exists in the tolerance of a particular depth interval, then no label will be drawn at that depth.

Label currently displayed traces

Select this option to label all currently displayed traces.

Select individual traces

Select this option to select which traces to label.

Click OK.
