Load Section

Use the Load Section option to load a predefined drillhole or stratigraphic cross-section.

This option can also be accessed by selecting the Load Section button from the Geology Section toolbar.

Instructions

• Select Geology menu
• Select Drilling Section submenu
• Select Load Section option

Select the section line. If drillholes have not been loaded onto the screen prior to selecting the Load Section option, then the Open Geological Database panel and the Load Drillholes panel displays first.

Nominate the drillholes that you want to add or remove from current selection. Cancel when you have finished selecting drillholes.

The section is then displayed in the Drillhole Section Window. Use [CTRL] and [Tab] to toggle between the Primary Window and the Drillhole Section Window. The section extents are also displayed in the Primary Window (as an underlay).

Note:   The data displayed through a Drillhole Section Window will be automatically updated when changes to the underlying database are saved through Isis.
