Generate

Use the Generate option to generate a binary file containing the geophysical traces from the original Geology or LAS data. Binary files are used to display the geophysical trace in the plot window, using the Display Trace option in the Test menu. They are also used in Borehole Graphics.

Instructions

On the Geology menu, point to Geophysics, and then click Generate.

Load All Logs

Select this check box to load all traces for the selected bore.

Load Only Logs

Enter or select from the list the traces to load into the new binary file.

File ID

Enter the file identifier for the new geophysical file. The file will be called < file_id. , and it will be created in the current working directory.

Click OK.

The binary file is then created.
