Overview

This section describes the options under the Grid Reserves submenu. These options are used to determine volumes and tonnages in areas defined by polygons from volumes modelled by grids. In each case you are required to have reserve blocks or polygons.

The volumes, depending on the option, are defined in a variety of ways:

  • Isopach grids representing product and waste thicknesses.
  • Roof and floor grids, with dilution or depletion offsets.
  • A scattering of points defining a roof and/or floor.
  • Roof and floor grids, limited by a topography and split by a bench.

The options allow you to report tonnages with the conversion from a volume accomplished through a single density factor, or with a grid that models the density. The reserves may be saved to a report file.
