Polygon Reserves

Use the Polygon Reserves option to calculate resources for geological zone polygons.

Note:   This option must be used when crossing holes exist.

Instructions

  • Select Geology menu
  • Select Section Resources submenu
  • Select Polygon Reserves option

The following panel displays.

Calculate Polygon Reserves panel

Name of composite parameter file

Enter, or select from the drop-down list, the name of the composite parameter file ( .cm1 ) that was created through the Geology compositing method. Refer to the Compositing option (under the Geology > Compositing submenu) for more information.

Enter name of report file

Enter the name of the report file. This is a compulsory alphanumeric field of 20 characters for the name of the preliminary resources file. The . por file (see the Preliminary Reserves Reporting panel) is generated from the preliminary resources file that you want to print. The preliminary resources file is automatically prefixed by the project code and given the file extension . prr.

Save each triangulation

Select this check box to save each of the solid triangulations created for the area of influence or zone polygons.

Select colour for each triangulation

Select this option to specify a colour for each triangulation. Alternatively, you can use the Rainbow colour scheme

Produce rainbow colours for triangulations

Select this option to use the Rainbow colour scheme for the triangulations. The Rainbow colour scheme uses gradually changing colour shades (purple through to red) for each triangulation.

Crossing polygon composites only

Select this option to only use those composites that fully cross a polygon.
