Overview

The Batvol submenu is used in conjunction with the Benching and Batters options. We therefore recommend that you read the Overview to the Benching and Batters module before using the Batvol module.

The Run Batvol option under the Batvol submenu calculates the block reserves and writes them to a log file. It also generates a reserve inventory database (.rin). Enquiries on the.rin database can be made in the Inquire option.

The following maximums apply to Batvol:

• The maximum number of seams Batvol can reserve is 150.
• The maximum number of projected polygons per block is 400.
• The maximum number of qualities per seam is 50.
• The maximum number of points per projected polygon is 20,000.

A report file of the calculated reserves can be generated through the Report option, and RIN data can be plotted through the Plot RIN Data option.
