Set the Advance Face on a Block

The Advance Faces option to set an advance face from the faces generated in the Generate Faces option. It is used by the XPAC Export, STSS and LTSS options.

Note:  It is useful to set the names so that it is easier to pick the blocks.

Instructions

On the Open Pit menu, point to Increment Design, and then click Advance Faces option

Select the desired block. This refers to the block that you want to set the advance face on.

Once selected, a dialog box displays.

Next face

Select this option to move the highlight to the next possible advance face.

Select face

Select this option to return to the prompt Select block to set face on.

Define face

Select this option to indicate the start point of the face and an end point. You will be asked to confirm these points.

Exit

Select this option to exit.
