Dragline Surface

Generate strings on spoil pile sections

The Dragline Surface option to generate strings on spoil pile sections (refer to the Dragline Spoil option). The strings are generated by joining common points on each section. The strings can be used to make a triangulated surface model of the new spoil pile.

Instructions

• Select Open Pit menu
• Select Pit Volumes submenu
• Select Dragline Surface option

Indicate the start and end of the section axis. Once indicated, the strings are then generated.
