Label Time

Use Label Time to label non-textual objects with their name.

The name may be:

  • <user specified name>
Applicable to design objects and assigned to an object through using the Name option (under the Design > Attribute Edit submenu).

Some options assign names without user input, for example Intersect (under the Geology > Drilling submenu) and Seed from Wall (under the Open Pit > Benching and Batters submenu).

  • DIG$SYMBOL
Applicable only to symbols. It cannot be changed.
  • <time>
Applicable to microseismic objects and represents the time of the microseismic reading.

Note:   Unless they are put into a layer, only one label can be displayed at a time.

Instructions

On the Underground menu, point to Microseismic, and then click Label Time to display the Label position panel.

Labels can be displayed at the start, end and/or the centre of objects. By default, the Centre check box will be enabled when using the Object Name option for the first time in the current Vulcan session. You can select any combination of the three positions.

Click OK.

The Multiple Selection box is then displayed. From this box, choose your method of selecting the objects and select the objects.

The names are then displayed in the selected position(s).
