Template Details
Data Posting Template
Select this option to have the CPB generate data-posting spec files from the associated template details. Deselecting this option allows the user to use predefined DPS files.
Template specification file
This is an existing data-posting (DPS) specification file which contains the values to be replaced at run time.
Template mapfile name
This is the name of the mapfile inside the template specification which will be replaced with a ‘real’ mapfile name at runtime.
Note: This only needs to be the filename (with extension) and not the full path to the file.
Template CSV file name
This is the name of the CSV file inside the template specification which will be replaced with a ‘real’ CSV name at runtime.
Note: This only needs to be the filename (with extension) and not the full path to the file.
Batch Plotting Template
Select this option to have the CPB generate plots files from the associated template details. Deselecting this option allows the user to just generate DPS files, allowing those DPS files to be hand-modified (for instance) before re-running the CPB to generate the plot file.
Template specification file
This is an existing batch-plotting (DH2) specification file which contains the values to be replaced at run time.
Template seam title line
This is the text contained in the 3rd line of the title block in the template specification which will be replaced with the ‘real’ seam name at runtime.
Template description title line
This is the text contained in the 4th line of the title block in the template specification that will be replaced with a ‘real’ quality variable description at runtime.
Common Template Details
These are details which are common to both the data-posting and batch-plotting sections.
Template grid filename
This is the name of the grid file in the template specification which will be replaced with a ‘real’ grid filename at runtime.
Note: This only needs to be the filename (with extension) and not the full path to the file.
Template database
This is the name of the DGD file in the template specification which will be replaced with a temporary DGD that is created at runtime.
Note: This only needs to be the filename (with extension) and not the full path to the file.
Template layer name
This is the name of the layer in the template specification which will be replaced with a temporary layer name at runtime.
Note: The temporary DGD and layer exist purely as outputs to the data-posting, and subsequent inputs for the batch-plotting. The DGD (and layers)are deleted at the end of the process.
