Simulation Selection

Simulation Field

Use this section to manually select the variable that will be used to store each one of the realisations. In addition, an automatic tool can be used to create the necessary variables.

Prefix

Enter the prefix for the variable name.

Initial suffix

Enter the starting number in the sequence.

Width

Enter the minimum number of characters that can be used to represent a number.

Example: A prefix of 'sim', an initial suffix of '1' and a width of '3' would result in 'sim001' as the first simulation field.

From/To realization

These fields are used to determine the number of realisations. Instead of asking for the number of realisations, you will only need to specify an initial and final realisation. These values are only used to calculate the number of realisations.

Generate

Select this option to populate the Simulation Field section according to the specified parameters.

Clear All

Select this option to clear the Simulation Field section, that is, remove all entries.

Note: The simulation fields must exist as block model variables. This section will not add, remove or rename existing block model variables.
