Benching and Batters menu contents
This section provides a summary of the Benching and Batters submenu and its available options.
Use the Set Up option to set the limiting (topography) surface and the sequence of horizons from the topography surface down. The information defined through this option will be stored in a Benching and Batters (.bb_spec
) specifications file.
Use the Direction option to define the direction of the mining and block advance.
Use the Toggle Marks option to turn on/off the marks on original blocks or walls.
Use the Marker Size option to change the size of the markers on the original blocks or walls.
Use the Change Wall option to change any wall type on a block.
Use the Reverse Wall options to reverse the direction of the mining and block advance.
Use the Create Macro option to create a macro file for block projections. The macro file consists of commands that specify block projection parameters.
Use the Edit Macro option to edit an existing macro projection file.
Use the Assign Macro option to assign a macro file to the blocks to be projected.
Use the Inquire option to display the contents of a macro projection file that has been assigned to a block/wall.
Use the Auto Project (Mesh) option to perform all the projections specified in an existing macro projection file, and then merge all the selected block into one mesh.
Use the Auto Project option to perform all the projections that are specified in an existing macro projection file.
Use the Manual Project option to project blocks step-by-step as opposed to the Auto Project option which performs all projections in the macro file in one step.
Use the Seed from Wall option to generate centre points of potential blocks defined by projected strings.
Use the Block From Wall option to generate blocks from projected walls.
Use the Block Number option to change the name, that is, the block number, of projected blocks.
Use the Solids from Projections option to create solids from projections without needing to run reserves that is, calculate block reserves.
Use the Section option to take a section through the projected blocks.
Use the Map File option to create an ASCII mapfile of a selected strip. The ASCII file contains the block name, easting and northing.
Use the Annotate option to annotate selected blocks with their block number.
Use the Horizon Legend option to display the topography, roof and floor legend.
Use the Horizons Visibility option to make surfaces visible or invisible. The option also allows you to make blocks visible or invisible.
Use the Walls Visibility option to make the wall projections visible or invisible.
Use the Blocks Visibility option to make the block projections visible or invisible.
