Overview

This section describes the options under the UG Survey submenu.

The UG Survey options allow you to:

Calculate the location of a foresight station by traversing (either by using horizontal and vertical angles from both faces or by using horizontal angles only from the left face).
Calculate the relationship between a survey line and a design centre line. The resultant report shows horizontal offsets for each interval and vertical offsets for both back and front survey station.
Create cross sections and open ended solid representations of underground drives, cross cuts, etc. by supplying a grade line, a set of chainage values and a left, right, back and floor offset from each chainage point.
Create walls, roof and floor triangulations from survey pickups and create 3D solid shapes from these triangulations.
Create survey data from wall, roof and floor triangulations.
