Installation and licensing

Before using PointStudio, you must install it on your computer and activate it with a valid licence. The installation procedure and licensing options are provided below.

Installation

Use the following simple steps to install PointStudio:

1. Log in to your Maptek Account at account.maptek.com.

2. Navigate to PointStudio and click Details.

3. Click Download to get the installer.

4. Run the installer and follow the prompts.

Note:  You can also download and install PointStudio via the Download Manager on Maptek Workbench.

Licensing

You will need a valid licence to run PointStudio. For detailed information on licensing, see Licensing Applications in Workbench help. This covers all licensing options and includes instructions on renewing expired licences.

Languages

PointStudio supports several languages besides English. You can choose one of the available languages in the General tab of Workbench Preferences.
