Horizons
This section to define where the horizon list is to be taken from, as well as refine the way in which the horizons are to be treated.
Horizon List
GDCALC global file
Select this option if you want to use the horizon list contained within an existing GDCALC global file (.gdc_glob
). The drop-down list contains all .gdc_global
files found within your current working directory. Click Browse to select a file from another location.
Horizon list file
Select this option if you want to use the horizon list contained within an existing Horizon list file (.hzn
).The drop-down list contains all .hzn
files found within your current working directory. Click Browse to select a file from another location.
Advanced splits definition file
Select this option if you want to use the horizon list contained within an existing Advanced Splits Definition file (.ad_split
). The drop-down list contains all .ad_split
files found within your current working directory. Click Browse to select a file from another location.
Horizon Control
Concatenate seam and ply fields from lithology record to from horizon name
Select this check box if you want to obtain the horizon name by concatenating both the SEAM
and PLY
fields (as specified by the Geological synonyms). This option can only be used when the current database has a PLY
synonym.
Ignore unlisted non-blank horizon names found within a listed horizon
Select this check box if you want to ignore the non-blank seam names found within the chosen horizon list if they happen to occur amongst the intercepts of a listed horizon. This check box will be selected by default, however, it can be unselected to provide greater data validation.
