Mapfile Generation 
Use Mapfile Generation to generate regular mapfiles using the same data selection procedures used by the fixing process.
One of the main advantages of this is that proper lithological (rock code) data extraction can be used which allows waste material, named as part of the horizon, but as initial (or final) intercepts of the horizon to still be incorporated in the structure thickness. The Mapfile Build Macro option does not allow this and reports structure thickness (ST) as less than logged, in this instance.
This option can also be accessed by selecting the Mapfile Generation button from the FixDHD Fix Strat from DB toolbar.
Instructions
On the Grid Calc menu, click Mapfile Generation to display the Mapfile Generation interface.
