The BlastLogic system consists of the following components:

The diagram below illustrates the high-level architecture of the BlastLogic platform and how data is exchanged between its key components.
Desktop
The BlastLogic Desktop application is used to import, prepare, analyse, and visualise data. Data is published on the Server so that it can be accessed on the Tablet application or using the OData Service via the creation of collections of holes known as sheets.
Tablet
The BlastLogic Tablet application is designed to be used out on the field for the purpose of data entry. The Tablet has the following modules: Drilling, Dipping, Backfilling, Charging (including Charging Activity), Blasts, and Inventory. If custom hole properties are flagged as editable on the BlastLogic Desktop application, they can be modified out on the field, then saved and stored onto the Server.

Server
The BlastLogic Server acts as a single source of truth. Once a server address is configured, multiple sites can be added to it and data can be published on a per-site basis.

OData Service
The OData Service enables users to get access to BlastLogic data via third party clients. Information about blasts and holes can be pulled from the OData feeds using Excel and Power BI.

BlastLogic Integration Service
BlastLogic Integration Service (BLIS) is a web service used to push drill data to the Server. The website provides the configuration tools to link databases to specific sites that are located at a defined server address. The data that is entered into drill navigation systems is copied onto the BlastLogic Server using BLIS at user-defined intervals. Through BLIS, drilling event-related activity can be monitored and user access can be controlled through the creation of administrators and guests.

BlastMCF
Maptek BlastMCF is a web-based application hosted by the BlastLogic Server. BlastMCF generates an optimised drill, charge, and timing design. This is accomplished through the Maptek Compute Framework (MCF) to automatically generate a number of blast design solutions within a predefined blast boundary. A solution in BlastMCF is defined as an optimal drill, blast, and timing design.

BlastLogic Extend API
BlastLogic Extend API is an integration interface that allows external applications and systems to securely read and edit data stored in the BlastLogic Server. Access to the API is controlled through API keys, which can be generated when the BlastLogic Server has a valid BlastLogic Extend API entitlement.
