The Clipboard group on the Home tab offers basic copy and paste operations for working with data.

The following table describes the tools available in the Clipboard group of the Home tab.

Tool	Description	Shortcut
Cut	Saves the selection to the clipboard and removes it from the view window.	Ctrl+X
Copy	Copies the selection to the clipboard.	Ctrl+C
Paste	Pastes the clipboard contents to the selected location.	Ctrl+V
