Most Maptek Workbench applications require a licence to run. Workbench itself does not require a licence and many of its features can be used freely without purchasing a licensed application.

This section discusses application licensing methods in the following categories:

• Maptek Account licensing: Access licences directly from Maptek Account via the internet.

• Other licensing methods: Borrow licences for computers without internet connectivity.

• Maptek Account scripting: Access licences without running Workbench, such as with workflows.
