Clip Phases
Use the Clip Phases option to clip one pit design against another pit design to generate pushbacks or phases.
Instructions
Click the K hotkey,
or
On the Utilities menu, click Clip Phases.
Select the main object you want to clip. This is generally the new pit that you have designed.
Select the secondary object you want to clip by. This is generally the existing pit or a previously designed pit or pushback.
The Create Component dialog displays for you to enter information for the new component that is created by the intersection. The new component created contains the pushback polygons for each bench.
