Insert Switchback
Use the Insert Switchback option to insert a switchback into a design string with a ramp.
Once this option is selected, you are prompted to nominate a string followed by the starting point for the switchback. The starting point refers to the innermost point of the string, which is the start of the road.
Instructions
Click the S hotkey,
or
On the Utilities menu, click Insert Switchback.
Select the bench to insert the switchback into.
Select the insertion point for the switchback.
On the panel that appears, define the "Switchback road to length ration." This is the ratio of how far back to adjust the wall to allow room for the switchback. For example, with a 25. road and a ratio of two, the wall is adjusted back 50 metres in the area of the switchback.
Click OK, to insert the switchback.
