Construction Points menu contents
This section provides an overview of the Construction Points submenu.
Use the Distance option to insert construction points along a line at a nominated distance apart.
Use the Equal Parts option to create a number of equally spaced construction points along a nominated line.
Use the Intersect option to create a construction point at the intersection of two lines.
Use the Digitise option to digitise construction points anywhere on the screen.
Use the Z Cut option to create construction points where a string intersects the current Z value.
Use the Compass option to create a construction point at the point of intersection between the loci of two points.
Use the Ruler option to create a construction point at the intersection of two bearings from nominated points.
Use the Insert By Distance option to create a construction point at a given distance of a point on a graded line.
Use the Insert By Point option to create a construction point at the right angle intersection of an extrapolated graded line and a line projected from a nominated point.
Use the Insert By Line option to create a construction point where a graded line (defined by two nominated points) is intersected by an existing line segment.
Use the Delete option to delete one or more construction points. It is possible to delete a sequence of construction points by digitising the first and final points in the sequence.
Use the Delete All option to delete all construction points in the current graphics window.
