Transformation menu contents
Use the Translate option to move an object to a new position. This option can also be used to create one or more copies of the object at the new location, leaving the original object unchanged.
Use the Rotate 2D option to rotate an object at a specified angle around the Z-axis.
Use the Rotate 3D option to rotate an object at a specified angle around either the X, Y or Z axes.
Use the Rotate Arbitrary option to rotate chosen objects around a specified axis. It is also possible to make a copy of the objects prior to the rotation.
Use the Scale option to scale an object by a nominated factor on three dimensions (X, Y and Z).
Use the Calculate option to create transformation matrices that can then be used by the Matrix option to transform data. The transformations produced are best-fit affine (linear) transformations.
Use the Matrix option to use a matrix to transform an object.
Use the Mirror option to create a mirror of design data.
Use the Geographic option to convert coordinates of selected objects.
Use the GDA Conversion option to convert between different map grid coordinate systems, i.e. MGA to AMG or ISG, and between different geographical coordinate systems, i.e. GDA to ANS.
