Grid Mesh Surfaces menu contents
Use the Directory option to list all grid mesh models in your current working directory together with information on these models.
Use the List option to list and load grid models onto the screen.
Use the Load option to load a single grid mesh model onto the screen.
Use the Remove By Name option to remove grid mesh models (by name) from the screen.
Use the Create Simple option to create a simple grid mesh model from displayed coordinate data.
Use the Vulcan Grid Model option to create a Vulcan grid model. The difference between this option and the Create Simple option is that this option incorporates interpolation and smoothing algorithms.
Use the Mask option to mask a loaded and visible grid mesh model, with an overlapping polygon.
Use the Invert Mask option to reverse the current mask on a grid.
Use the Unmask option to remove a mask from a grid mesh model.
Use the Contour option to contour a grid model.
Use the Drape option to drape 'attribute variable data' over a loaded and visible grid mesh model. The attribute variable data of one grid mesh displays as colour coded intervals over the selected grid.
The Min/Max option is designed to calculate a grid whose values are maximum or minimum of corresponding values of the source grids.
Use the Patch option to select part or all of an existing grid and paste it into a second grid.
Use the Set Value option to paste a uniform (i.e. horizontal) level into a loaded and visible grid mesh.
Use the Node Edit option to change the Z value of individual nodes of a currently loaded and visible grid mesh.
Use the Triangulate option to create a triangulation surface from a loaded and visible grid mesh model.
Use the To Object option to convert grid mesh data that is bounded by a polygon to a series of points in a nominated layer.
Use the Create Mapfile option to create a mapfile by interpolating quality values based on a structure grid and several quality grid surfaces.
Use the Remove option to remove grid mesh models from the screen.
