Polygon Edit menu contents

Area

Use the Area option to change the area of an existing polygon.

Expand

Use the Expand option to increase (expand) or decrease (shrink) proportionally the size of a polygon by a given distance. It is possible to maintain the original polygon and create another polygon at the increased or decreased size.

Boolean

Option to compute the elementary boolean operations on planar polygons.

Boolean by Plane

Option to compute the elementary boolean operations on planar polygons, grouped by distance from a defined plane.

Build

Use the Build option to build polygons defined by a set of existing open or closed strings.

Morph

Use the Polygon Morph tool to interpolate polygons of various shapes to create smooth transitional polygons and solids.

Partition

Use the Partition option to split (partition) a polygon into new polygons by interactively digitising partition lines.

Impose

Use the Impose option to build polygons defined by a set of existing open or closed strings.

Pairs

Use the Pairs option to manipulate a pair of polygons that share the same points. This option incorporates all of the Point Insert and Point Edit functions while allowing two polygons that share the same points to be manipulated at once.

Radii

Use the Radii option to create polygons around loaded design data.

Boundaries

Use the Boundaries option to digitize interactively the boundaries between blocks in a blast. Boundaries can be digitised as lines or polygons.

Tessellate

This option creates a voronoi diagram from a set of points.

Skeleton

Use this option to create straight skeletons of simple and nested closed polygons.

Network

Use this option to manipulate polygons, adjusting vertices and segments

Remove Crossovers

Use this option to remove crossover sections in polygons.

Delete Bridges

Use the Delete Bridges option to delete the occurrence of bridges in a nominated polygon(s). The Delete Bridges option will allow you to transfer attributes, such as colour, line type and feature, from the already existing polygon objects to the new polygons.
