Display Scheme
Use this section to set the colour palette and the interval patterns for your plots.
The Display Scheme panel is divided into two sections, Colour Palette and Interval Patterns .
Colour Palette
Use the project's dynamic scheme
Select this check box to use a dynamic colour scheme. This means that the colours defined in your specification file will be automatically updated if the scheme file (.scd) changes. If there is a difference, then a message in the Report Window will let you know that it is using the scheme file. This is beneficial when you have a great number of plots all using the same colour scheme, and you want to make a global change to the scheme, and have it reflected in the plots.
Dynamic scheme name
Select the scheme name from the drop-down list. Refer to the Colours option (under the File > Colour Table submenu) for information on how to create colour palettes.
Select the check boxes next to the data elements that you want to colour with the dynamic scheme (surface models, block models, and/or data fields).
Note: Surface models are triangulations and grid models.
Use current Vulcan colour table
Click Use current Vulcan colour table to save whichever colour palette is active in Vulcan to the batch plotting specification. The RGB values that are stored into the specification file will then be updated with the RGB colours that define the colour palette currently active in Vulcan.
Interval Patterns
For each interval select whether or not you want to want to use a DGD pattern (in which case the DGD Pattern Layer and Pattern Scale columns will be activated) or a bitmap pattern. DGD patterns are patterns from the patterns.dgd.isis database and bitmap patterns are the hard coded patterns (these are the patterns displayed when you select the Patterns button in the Status toolbar).
If you choose to use DGD patterns then you must specify the layer in which the pattern is stored and the scale of the pattern.
Note: These patterns will only be plotted if you select the Apply Patterns option in one of the following panels: Database Fields:Trace : Attribute panel, Grid Models: Attributes panel, Triangulation Models: Attributes panel.
