Gridlines

This section is divided into three subsections (Absolute, Relative and Centreline). Each of these subsections is further divided into three options (Plan, Section and Width).

Absolute gridlines are the real world Easting (X), Northing (Y) and Elevation (Z) coordinate lines. Relative gridlines are gridlines drawn from a user defined origin. This can be useful when you want to display a local mine grid and a geographic grid on the plot.

Absolute vs. Relative

illustrates relative and absolute grid lines on a plan view of an oblique section. A Centreline is a gridline drawn on the centre line of a view.

The Absolute, Relative and Centreline subsections allow you to specify the graphical attributes of the gridlines and the spacing between gridlines.

The Plan, Section and Width options allow you to specify the display parameters of the gridlines, that is which gridlines are displayed, whether or not the gridlines are annotated, etc.
