Blast Design Bench menu contents
Use the Set Up option to select the site, deposit and general blast hole pattern parameters for the blast to be designed or edited.
Use the Load Survey option to load layers from design databases in your current data directory or, if the $SURVEY_DATA environment variable has been set up, in the directory pointed to by that variable.
Use the Create Designed Outline option to create a designed outline.
Use the Expansion option to expand the designed outline by half the current burden.
Use the Load Within Outline option to load all data, in the current open design database, that falls in a nominated outline.
Use the Generate option to generate holes based on the parameters specified through the Set Up option.
The Final Design option allows the design of holes for use in pre-split blasts, cushion blasts and final pillar blasts.
Use the Create Single option to create interactively single blastholes.
Use the Create Survey option to select existing holes as survey reference holes.
Use the Edit option to edit the parameters of individual blastholes. The parameters include orientation, absolute depth and minimum drilling length.
Use the Delete option to delete individual blastholes.
Use the Delete by Polygon option to delete all blastholes that fall inside or outside a nominated polygon.
Use the Drag option to select blastholes and drag (move) then to a new position.
Use the Move/Copy option to move a blasthole to a new position. This option can also be used to create one or more copies of the blasthole at the new location, leaving the original blasthole unchanged.
Use the Rotate option to rotate a blasthole at a specified angle around the Z axis.
Use the Assign Depth option to assign depths to blastholes by either selecting individual holes or by specifying a polygon.
Use the Comparison option to compare holes in one layer to holes in another layer.
Use the Filter option to convert a 3D blast design into collar points and export these points to a samples database.
Use the Create Registered Outline option to create a registered outline.
Use the Annotate option to annotate an outline generated through the Create option.
Use the Label Hole Name option to label blastholes with their name.
Use the Automatic Hole Naming option to name automatically blastholes according to a row/column convention.
Use the Interactive Hole Naming option to name interactively blastholes with a sequence number.
Use the Automatic Prefix option to automatically name blast holes, beginning with a prefix and ending with a three digit number.
Use the Dump Collars option to dump hole collar coordinates to a text file.
