Use the Quick and Advanced Validate Functions

The table below outlines the scope of the quick and advanced validate methods for each schedule generation module.
| Quick Validation | Advanced Validation | |

Process Setup / Material Flow: Check that the flowchart has the minimum required items and the items are linked correctly. Ensure that each setup item (waste utilities, pits, stockpiles) has values selected for tonnage, volume, availability or completion factor. Viewer: Ascertain if the road network has the required waypoints and linked destinations. Objectives: Scrutinise the trucks for correct rim pull curve, fuel consumption and retard curve. Calculate equipment productivity and ensure that the equipment utilisation is within limits. Constraints: Verify that the constraints all have their values filled. |
Process Setup: Calculate tonnage, volume, waste definitions, waste capacity, waste volumes, stockpile tonnages for all solids or blocks in all models. Verify that the values are all positive and that the total equals the sum of the areas. |
| Epoch |
Process Setup: Validate that the setup has parcels with the correct categories and columns. Resources: Ensure that the calendar has the minimum required equipment and single coverage appointments. Make sure that each stockpile has the minimum associated equipment. Investigate if max speed is positive for all destinations. Activities: Find out if the setup has activities. Test if the duration scripts compile correctly and are filled. |
Activities: Compile all duration scripts and make sure that all resulting values are within a reasonable range for all blocks, solids and parcels. Compile the maximum equipment scripts for all activities and validate that they are within a reasonable range for all solids. |
| Origin Solids |
Process Setup: Validate that the setup has parcels with the correct categories and columns. Calendar: Make sure that all the period targets have appropriate values. Calculate the digger productivity and check that it has value. |
Viewer: Compile road network definitions and check if all associated solids pass the definitions. |
| Origin Blocks |
Calendar: Make sure that all the period targets have appropriate values. Calculate the digger productivity and check that it has value. Staging: Check that there are no circular stage dependencies and that no stage depends upon itself. Mining: Verify that stages are set and that the seed sequence matches the drill down scenario. |
Viewer: Compile road network definitions and check if all associated geometries pass the definitions. |
| Strategy |
Tonnage & Grade: Ensure that all tonnage and grade values are numeric and positive. Lithology: Find out if all process nodes have lithology mappings and that stockpiles have lithology set. Targets & Economics: Ensure that dynamic capital values are appropriate. Check that cost columns are all set and that the calendar periods are filled. Constraints: Make sure that all constraints have appropriate values. |
