Geotechnical Tab Overview

Note:  Geotechnical is an add-on that requires additional licensing, which may be obtained via your Maptek Account portal. Please see Licensing Applications in Workbench help for details.

The Geotechnical tab offers tools to simplify calculations and analysis of discontinuities, dip and strike, mapping out cells and creating Stereonets.

You can find the following tool groups in the Geotechnical ribbon tab:

Important:  PLEASE read the Software End User Licence Agreement (see EULA) thoroughly, as it sets out the terms of Liability and Risk etc. associated with using this software. The Geotechnical tools are only intended to provide a means with which the educated operator can study certain characteristics of pit walls and similar rock faces. The operator can then analyse the results of the software in conjunction with any other appropriate methodologies to arrive at an educated estimate of a situation. The levels of risk and confidence must be ascertained by considering all information and data involved in the analyses conducted.
