Analyse menu contents
This section provides an overview of the Analyse menu.
This section describes the options you can use to find details on points and objects, such as the coordinates of points, the distance between them, and the minimum/maximum coordinates of objects in a layer.
This section describes the options you can use to apply gridlines (both 2D and 3D) and label or annotate them.
This section describes the options you can use to display point and object labels. Labels can only be plotted if they are placed in a specified layer. In Vulcan there is a distinction between labels and text. Labels are function as an underlay and cannot be selected or edited unless saved as text.
This section describes the options you can use to create, remove, and display links between objects and a text file, database, shell command, or macro.
This section describes the options you can use to run commands built from attributes of selected design objects.
This section describes the options you can use to perform a statistical analysis of data values. The data may come from composite databases, general databases, mapfiles, block models, grids, Vulcan screen objects, or from a combination of these data sources. A variety of graph types can be used to display the statistics. You can also use cell declustering to apply weights to a dataset.
This section describes the options you can use to create, change or delete colour legends. Legends can be placed in a layer for plotting purposes.
The angular units used in the Analyse module are set through the Miscellaneous section of the Preferences option.
