Transformations menu contents
This section provides a summary of the Transformations submenu and its available options.
The Lat/Long To XYZ option to convert geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) based on the local spheroid to the Cartesian (XYZ) reference frame coordinates so that they can be used in manual GPS calculations.
The XYZ To Lat/Long option to convert Cartesian (XYZ) coordinates, used in GPS calculations, to geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) based on a specified local spheroid.
The UTM To Lat/Long option to convert Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) map grid plane coordinates to geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude).
The Set Up Local option to set the transformation parameters for the conversion of local grid system coordinates to UTM coordinates.
The Local to UTM option to convert individual local mine grid coordinates to Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) map projection coordinates.
