Insert Column

Use this option to insert a column to refine a model for more accurate simulation over an area of interest.

Instructions

On the Model menu, point to Modflow Grid, then click Insert Column.

Select the column at which the insert is to occur. Pick any cell in the appropriate column and that column is then divided into two.

Any Modflow data currently assigned to the initial column is assigned to the new column. The model is redisplayed and you are prompted for the next column to insert.
