Dragline Surface

Use this option to generate strings on spoil pile sections (refer to the Dragline Spoil option). The strings are generated by joining common points on each section. The strings can be used to make a triangulated surface model of the new spoil pile.

Instructions

On the Open Pit menu, point to Pit Volumes, then click Dragline Surface.

Indicate the start and end of the section axis. Once indicated, the strings are then generated.
