Intersect Components

Use the Intersect Components option to perform a boolean intersection on two components. The components must be comprised of closed polylines only.

Instructions

Click the I hotkey,

or

On the Utilities menu, click Intersect Components.

Select the main component.

Select the second component.

The Create Component dialogue displays for you to enter information for the new component that is created by the intersection.

Click OK.
