Underlays menu contents
This section provides an overview of the Underlays submenu and its available options.
Use the Load Layer option to list layers in the open design database and load a layer from this list as an underlay.
Use the Remove Layer option to remove, from the current window, those layers that were loaded as an underlay. A layer can be removed by entering its name or by selecting it from a list.
Convert/Display Coloured Points
Use the Convert/Display Coloured Points option to display large point datasets without requiring a design layer to be loaded. This option is useful for displaying large geophysical datasets such as aeromagnetics and gravity.
Use the Convert To Object option to convert underlays into Vulcan objects. The converted underlays will be saved as design objects in a nominated Vulcan layer.
Use the Remove option to select underlays to remove from the screen.
Use the Remove All Underlays option to remove all underlays from the screen. Unlike the Remove option, which requires you to select the underlay to remove, the Remove All Underlays option will remove all currently loaded underlays.
