Utilities menu contents
This section provides an overview of the Utilities submenu.
The Database Import option to load structural data from a drillhole database into a structural database.
The Convert options allows you to import structural data into a structural database.
The Annotation On option to annotate nominated drillholes with fields from a structural record in the drillhole database.
The Annotation Off option to remove annotations from selected drillholes.
The ASCII Import option to import structural data from an ASCII file into a structural database.
The ASCII Export option allows you the export structural data from the currently open structural database to an ASCII file.
The CSV Export option to export the GEOTEC fields that correspond with a collection of selected structural elements and store them in a nominated CSV file.
The Edit Codes option to edit an existing Geotechnical Specification file or, if applicable, create one in your current working directory.
The Edit Structures option to assign symbols to geotechnical structures, as well as create and edit custom symbols.
The Data Entry Setup option to specify the defaults for entering new structural information into the structural database.
The Digitise option to digitise new observation locations and enter data for each.
The Select option to select data on the screen, and use the location of that data as the location of a structural record in the structural database.
The Line option to define structure locations along a scan line and enter the structural data for each.
The Edit option to edit the attributes of an existing observation location.
The Delete option to remove a chosen structural element from the currently open structural database.
The Plot option to select all structural data, in either the 3D display (Primary) window or Stereonets window, for inclusion in a plot file.
The Map Image to Drillhole option to map a textured image to a triangulated drillhole.
