Hand Editing Mapfiles

Mapfiles can be hand edited before running Fixmap to achieve the desired results. For drillholes which penetrate the structure roof, but do not cut the seam floor, insert a -99 into the regular mapfile for the SF variable. Only edit the SR and SF values when they are undefined. TK will then be assumed to be unknown and the mapfile value will be ignored. Fixmap will then calculate a best fit value for each.

Insert a '0' for each variable's value you do not want to access during the modelling process. When the mapfiles are loaded into Grid Calc, be sure to select the No Zero box in the Load Mapfile option (under Data).
