GCOPT
This option is used for two tasks, either the block based optimization or the polygon based contouring.
Block based optimisation generates a block model automatically using the blasts loaded into Vulcan. If you are using the block based optimization you do not need to specify a database, or if it should be compressed and rebuilt.
Polygon based contouring is used to generate optimal operational polygons from an underlying economic block model, with respect to economic value. It is especially useful for generating grade control polygons which will increase revenue and reduce tedious drafting work at open pit mines.
Usage:
|
gcopt [options] <block model> <spec file> <scenario> [scenario] |
Where:
|
Option |
Description |
|---|---|
|
-d <dgd> |
Output strings to design database. |
|
-c |
Compress and rebuild database on completion. |
|
-e ##.## |
Replace scenario(s) elevation. |
Example:
Block optimisation
gcopt -e 1200.00 model.bmf spec.gco.spec scenario01
Polygon optimisation
gcopt -d thor.dgd.isis -c -e 1200.00 model.bmf spec.gcp.spec scenario01
Note: Â There is a different specification file used in each case. The first is a gco.spec, and the second is a gcp.spec.
