Exiting Vulcan

To finish using Vulcan, select the File > Quit Vulcan option.

If modifications have been made to the currently open design database, but not saved, then you will be asked to save your changes prior to closing the Vulcan session. If the changes have already been saved, then you will be asked to confirm your intention to exit the current session.

In both cases the Compress and rebuild modified design database check box displays on the Exit Vulcan panel. If this check box is checked, then the design database will be compressed and rebuilt. Refer to the Compressing a Database section for more information on compressing and rebuilding a design database.

The default state of the Compress and rebuild modified design database check box, (checked or unchecked), is controlled through the Vulcan section of the Preferences option.
