Inherit Colour

Use the Inherit Colour option to assign the current Vulcan colour, which is defined through the Status toolbar, to a selected symbol.

Note:   In order to use this option, the symbol that you want to apply colour inheritance to must be displayed in the Symbols Window.
Colour changes are not applicable to the Symbols Window. The symbol will always match the current Vulcan colour when viewed through the Primary Window, however, this colour won't be used when displaying the same symbol through the Symbols Window.

Instructions

On the File menu, point to Symbols, and then click Inherit Colour.

The Multiple Selection box displays. From this box, choose your method of selecting the objects and select the objects. If necessary, the colour of the selected objects will change to the current colour.

Use the Save option (under the File > Symbols submenu), or select the Save button from the Standard toolbar, to save the changes.
