Starting the Block Model Utility

The Block Model Utility can be started in several ways: From the Workbench, with or without Vulcan running, and from the Vulcan Explorer application.

Workbench

Click the Start button from the lower right corner of the application, then click Block Model Utility from the pop-up menu.

Vulcan Explorer application

There are four methods you can use to start Block Model Utility from Vulcan Explorer:

1. Right-click on the Specifications Folder and select New Block Definition File.

2. Right-click on a block model definition file (.bdf) in the Specifications Folder and select New Block Definition.

3. Right-click on the Specifications Folder and select New Block Estimation File.

4. Right-click on a block estimation file (.bef) in the Specifications Folder and select New Block Estimation File.
