Freeze All

Freeze All Objects

Use the Freeze All option to prevent all objects, layers or underlays that are currently displayed onscreen from being highlighted or edited. This is useful when there are a large number of items displayed and you don't want the risk of accidentally picking and editing the wrong item. The Freeze All option can be used on shadowed and invisible items.

This option can also be accessed by clicking the All Freeze button on the Visibility toolbar.

Instructions

On the View menu, point to Visibility, and then click Freeze All.

Use the Visible and All Visible options to highlight or edit a frozen item.
