Shadow

Shadow an Object or Layer

Use the Shadow option to shadow selected items. This option is useful when there are a large number of objects or layers and you don't want to take the risk of accidentally picking and editing the wrong object.

Shadow is hardware dependent and may therefore not be shown on your screen.

Underlays, such as grids and triangulations, can also be made visible.

This option can also be accessed by clicking the Shadow button on the Visibility toolbar.

Instructions

On the View menu, point to Visibility, and then click Shadow.

The Select By dialog box is then displayed, allowing you to select the items by layer or object.

The selected objects are then shadowed.

To bring the objects or layers back, use the Visible or All Visible option.
