Zone Structural Data

The Zone option to highlight the structural data in either the Primary or Stereonets Windows by a minimum distance.

The Zone option is basically an extension of the Highlight option. The Zone option uses the distance between a structure and each of its neighbours as a basis for highlighting. The distance is referred to as the Zone distance and is in the default units of measurement (set up for the window at installation time).

A zone distance of 100.0, for example, will select all structural data in a radius of 100.0 of the structure selected as the centre of zoning. The structural object selected as the centre of the zoning will remain visible. Zoning always occurs in the 3D window, although a point in the Stereonets Window may be selected as the basis for zoning in the Primary Window.
