Crash Reports

Crash reports are generated automatically by Vulcan when the software is artificially terminated (i.e. the software is abruptly closed without saving or using the correct shutdown procedure). Such abrupt terminations may be caused by issues such as exceeding memory limitations, network connection issues, or software defects.

Vulcan crash report error message:

The crash reports are saved at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Maptek\Workbench\Crash Reports.

Some instances will provide an opportunity to send the information to Maptek. We encourage you to do so to allow our developers a chance to review what went wrong and correct any issues that may cause problems in the future.
