Reposition Centroid

Use Reposition Centroid to reposition existing grade block centroids. Grade block centroids control the position of grade block labels as well as where the posting pointer originates.

This option can also be selected via the Vulcan right-click context menu. Simply right-click on a grade block and select the Reposition Centroid option from the displayed context menu.

Instructions

On the Grade Control menu, click Reposition Centroid.

Select a grade block before indicating the new centroid position.

Once the centroid has been repositioned, you will be prompted to select another grade block. Right-click to exit the option.

Select the Save Blast option to store the updated centroid information in your Grade Control database.
