Flyby
View the Scene in Perspective
Use the Flyby option to view the data in flying mode. You can select the point at which to view the data and the direction in which to fly.
The difference between this option and the Look option is that the Flyby option to choose your viewing direction instead of assuming North.
To avoid flying through surfaces, check the Do not fly through surfaces check box (under the Graphics : Input section of the Tools > Preferences option). You can also select to Invert mouse Y direction, which means as you move the mouse down, the plane will go up and vice versa.
The Perspective factor at near plane value, which specified through the Graphics : Effects section of the Tools > Preferences option), is set by default to 0.01. This setting minimises the effects of distortion on objects when they are close to triangle facets. However, this setting may not be suitable in this mode. A more suitable setting in this case would be 0.001. In general you should try settings between the 0.01 and 0.001.
