Coordinate Points

Each coordinate point in a string object has a set of three values: X, Y and Z. The X and Y values correspond to the X and Y axes respectively (or Easting/Northing, Latitude/Longitude depending on the coordinate system being used). The Z value corresponds to the Z or Level axis.

A fourth value, the W value, is a parameter that can optionally be assigned to a coordinate point. For example, point number or, in underground mine design, the survey station number.

Text and dimension objects give the coordinates special values, which is used by Vulcan to display these objects accurately.
