Pick Polygons
Picking limiting polygons from the screen
Use the Pick Polygons option to pick polygons from the screen to be used as limiting polygons. These polygons are loaded into the Rsvute buffer. It is very similar to the Select Polygons option, except you can select polygons loaded into Vulcan.
Tip: Â To run this option from the command line, type:
SELECT_POLYGONS /DESIGN_DB='database name' /POLYGONS=('layer name','object name')
Example: Â SELECT_POLYGONS /DESIGN_DB='thordesign.dgd' /POLYGONS=('1_001_HO','LINE_1')
Instructions
On the Rsvute menu, point to File, and then click Pick polygon.
The Multiple Selection box displays. From this box, choose your method of selecting polygons and then select the polygons. As you select the polygons they become shadowed, this is so that you do not select the same polygon twice.
Cancel when you have finished selecting polygons, depending upon your selection method you may need to cancel twice.
The polygons are loaded into the Rsvute buffer. The screen display does not change.
